Job Description: Junior Fixed Income Operations Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:
• Allocate transactions with counterparties via 3rd party systems.
• Assist with the set-up of new trading accounts.
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with firm's clearing provider.
• Troubleshoot executions and clearing exceptions.
• Validate vendor invoices against firm's transaction activity.
• Develop procedures to improve the operational efficiency of the trading desk.
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort engaging with counterparties and vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Python or other coding languages is a plus.
• Willingness to study for and take the Securities Industry Essentials Exam and any other required exams.
